This video features John and Aeryn through the Peacekeeper Wars miniseries. It's told from Aeryn's point of view. Her entire life was built around being a Peacekeeper and then she meets John Crichton. As she tells him in the mini "You ruined my life." And yet, I don't think she means that in a negative sense. Meeting him changed her life, she learned to love, to fight for what she believes in, to cherish the idea of getting married and now she's going to have a baby, something she might never have done had she stayed a Peacekeeper.
She had everything that she knew about life taken away from her and what she got was more than she could have ever imagine. "Three is not such a scary number."
Lyrics to the song:
All I know Is everything is not as it’s sold But the more I grow The less I know
And I have lived so many lives Though I’m not old And the more I see, the less I grow The fewer the seeds the more I sow
Then I see you standing there Wanting more from me And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there Wanting more from me And all I can do is try
Try
I wish I hadn’t seen All of the realness And all the real people Are really not real at all
The more I learn, the more I learn The more I cry, the more I cry As I say goodbye to a way of life I thought I had designed for me
Then I see you standing there Wanting more from me And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there I’m all I’ll ever be But all I can do is try
Try
Try
All of the moments that already passed We’ll try to go back and make them last All of the things we want each other to be We never will be, we never will be And that’s wonderful and that’s life
And that’s you, baby This is me, baby And we are
We are We are We are We are We are
Free
In our love
We are
We are free in our love

Not sure what's up with the footage, it looks jumpy to me. It says 30 fps, but almost seems to be 15fps. Other than that, you did a good job of selecting clips and I liked the overlay of old Aeryn and various young Aeryn's that you showed. I did notice one minor mistake at the end, where you captured the play marker from the VCR or DVD player. I'd like to see a clean version of this one once the DVD comes out next year.

Beautiful song choice and choice of clips. I loved how it's told from Aeryn's POV and how you laced in clips from "before". My only "complaint" is that the picture is a little jerky; nevertheless the video is a keeper. I love romantic component of your vids.

Excellent vid. At first I was thinking that I can't wait until the dvd comes out and you could get some sharper images...but after watching the whole vid, I kinda like the softer "old cinema" look. I especially liked your editing and the small touches/special effects you added. The best PKW vid I've seen so far.

This is a beautiful vid, I love Nelly Furtado and the clips fit in with everything perfectly. I had never thought about it before, but it really is a perfect song for them. You did a wonderful job.
