Kazbaby suggested using this song for a D'Argo vid. I thought it would be a pretty good idea and decided to tackle it. For simplicity's sake I chose to use just season 1. This in no way means our lovable Luxan has calmed down. There are so many good moments that prove Luxans can be quite volatile. The bulk of this video was pretty easy. There were so many scenes that seemed to fall right into place. One of my favorites is the "Women to the left of me, women to the right" that I was able to match up to scenes with him having women where they were supposed to be.
The beginning morphed I was initially going to use the desert scene broken up with black flashes on the "oi"s, but that really seemed to drag on way too long. That led to the montage of scenes. The end was the harder part. I tried to match the clips to the frenetic pace of the music. I'm going to apologize in advance for any epileptic outbursts viewing it may cause. *wink*
Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi See me ride out of the sunset On your colour tv screen Out for all that I can get If you know what I mean Women to the left of me And women to the right Ain’t got no gun Ain’t got no knife But don’t you start no fight
Chorus: ’cause I’m t.n.t. I’m dynamite T.n.t. and I’ll win the fight T.n.t. I’m a power load T.n.t. watch me explode
I’m dirty, mean and mighty unclean I’m a wanted man Public enemy number one Understand So lock up your daughter Lock up your wife Lock up your back door And run for your life The man is back in town Don’t you mess me ’round
Chorus T.n.t. oi, oi, oi T.n.t. oi, oi, oi T.n.t. oi, oi, oi T.n.t. oi, oi, oi T.n.t. oi I’m dynamite (oi, oi) T.n.t. oi, And I’ll win the fight, T.n.t. I’m a power load T.n.t. Watch me explode!

Fades from black are the ideal choice for the Ois.
I think that most Farscape vidders would agree that it's very difficult to find songs appropriate for D'Argo. Well done for recognising the potential of this one.
There are a lot of clips from episodes which do not spring to mind as having battle scenes in them. I commend you on your choices.
A great vid'. |
