Music by Sting – When We Dance

Video Clips From Farscape’s Look at the Princess Trilogy with one clip from Dog With Two Bones (not quite a spoiler, since it’s a fantasy sequence and didn’t happen in the “reality” of Farscape).

This video explores how Councilor Tyno and Aeryn Sun deal with the fate that forces both of them to deal with the loss of their loved ones to a marriage not of their will. I decided to make a video with this theme since Tyno and Aeryn’s experiences parallel each other so nicely.

This is my first ever full-length Farscape music video and my first posting to this site! Many thanks to LT Garrix for telling me about Screenblast editing software and giving me some great tips on how to create videos. Also, thank you to everyone who’s posted on this site – your fabulous videos have inspired me to create videos of my own!

I love this song. This is actually the song I chose to dance to at my wedding reception!

Of course the wedding was cancelled and we never danced. But this is a very dear song to me. I cry everytime I hear it. Thank you for making such a beautiful video. And I love the Princess arch.

This is a very moving vid' - I can't help but feel for the characters when I watch it. You've really encapsulated many of the most profound elements of the LATP story (duty, honour, love).

You've also used some subtle but extremely effective transitions.

My hard drive will always store this piece.

This video was excellent! You used one of my favorite songs, one of my favorite episodes, and two of my favorite couples. :) The editing was very good (smooth transitions between shots, and I especially like the fade-in/fade-out of the two couples at the end. Bravo! I look forward to seeing more vids from you in the future!

This was truly an amazing and awe-inspiring video. It was one of the best scaper vids out there. Words can't really do it justice. A picture is worth a thousand words, and this video is infinitely more than just a picture. Avenue, very well done!!!

What an elegant video!!! I can't believe this is only your first one! It's so smooth and sleekly edited! First of all, fascinating concept; the two left behind by John and Katralla being forced together. Massively clever! Second, Sting's sweeping song was perfectly selected for the slow pace of these episodes. I especially loved the clip of skimming over the palace to the opening strains of the song. Very cool! Third, beautifully woven together. This whole vid felt like poetry. No jarring cuts or quick edits, just smooth, flowing scenes, easing gently back and forth between Tyno and Aeryn. Nice transition clips too. :) I am very impressed, Avenue Potter, and I really hope you continue to make videos! This was beautiful.

Very sweet vid. I liked the jump from the DWTB dream sequence to Aeryn slamming into the mirror. I recall someone was bothered because the dream sequence was from John's POV but I think it worked nicely to show the ideal state of happiness between them. Nicely done. Keep 'em coming!

This was WONDERFUL. I love Sting's song. I must give you Kudos for excellent selection of scenes... fresh new... romantic and full of angst. And yes, you were successful in showing the loss of Aeryn and Tyno's loved ones to a marriage of convenience. Amazing.

I loved the overlapping scenes... the slow fades... nice lyrics, romantic, heartrendering. YOU'RE GOOD AT THIS! I hope you'll do more cuz I LOVED this. And, of course, mix excellent editing, Sting, and Farscape... you can't lose.

Thank you, Avenue Potter
