Watching this video, a disturbing thought came to me. There are probably Scapers out there new to Farscape that have no idea or only a vague idea of why Aeryn is so full of angst regarding John. In other words, they know nothing of Talyn-John, who he was or how his death impacted Aeryn.

In a nutshell, Crichton was twinned and one twin left Moya with Aeryn onboard Talyn. Though Aeryn and John already loved each other, Aeryn finally released her resistance to the human and their love flourished. Unfortunately, Talyn-John died which devastated Aeryn. Returning to Moya, Aeryn had to face not only the memory of her lover, but his very-much-alive twin, Moya-John. Moya-John is still in love with Aeryn, but she is not so sure about pursuing a relationship with a man she always dismissed as "the copy".

LithiumDoll's video brings to music Aeryn's memories of John and the conflict she feels regarding an opportunity most lost loves never get: the second chance.

When I hear this song, it has the tendency of pulling you into it, until you get the point. It's touching, sad, and answers a LOT of questions a lot of you might get when you listen to her music. I loved it.

I actually cried the first time I saw this vid. It still leaves a "punch in the gut" whenever I watch it now. My favorite parts are when Talyn-John lays dying and the absolutely wondering timing and placement of the wedding scenes. A class act all the way and very, very professional looking. The first time my non-farscape friend watched it, all he could say was "Wow...these fans sure are dedicated and creative." And now he's a fan of the show as well.

An utterly remarkable video. I have tried joining this website but I don't ever get a responce from it about when I joined. Oh well!! I think your videos are the best from anyone on here. I do have a question though. I also make videos, but I have yet to figure out how to put text in the video. I want to put the words to the song in it as the video is playing. Serendipity! Looking for "My Immortal", I stumbled across this video. My interest in Farscape had already been perked by a friend and the drama and emotion evoked in this vid prompted me to purchase the first DVD that very night. A few days later, my husband came home with the entire first season boxed set. After we watched it all in less than two weeks, he ran out and bought the second season! We're almost done with season three and eagerly awaiting the miniseries! Two people successfully 'Scaped. I'm working on my father now!

I accidentally downloaded this video while searching for the real video to My Immortal. Knowing nothing about Farscape I was intrigued. To quote you, I had "no idea ... why Aeryn is so full of angst regarding John." I wanted to know all about Aeryn and John, and why they were so unhappy. This video made me the Scaper I am today, and I just want to thank you for the wonderful editing. After seeing most of the other 300 or so videos, this one remains one of my top five, and it will take a special place as my first introduction into the Scaper world.

For Starter, WOW great work, you obviously love Scape, Ihave only seen the My Immortal peice so far, Dl'd some others as we speak, that said great eye/ear for sync up and storytelling you can really get the feel of the relationship, On negative tho, I understand you have a limited amount of imagery, but you repeated a few things too quickly for me, (especially the repeat pushes "Promise me you wont die in my arms again") Also For scapers we get the story we know the eps the clips come from, but for someone not versed in it, it canbe confusing, the visual story could use a little more ordering and connection to itself

After viewing this video a couple times a few things struck me - first this mix of My Immortal is different than the studio version - was this version taken off the Soundtrack? as far as i can hear the difference is this - the studio version adds some rather gorgious strings arrangements - but hearing the song without the strings....so that you can hear especially the acoustic guitar in the last modulation at about 2:40 or so...wow i think i like it better this way - BIG kudos on the version you picked!! Also i agree with those who enjoyed the choice of clips - from a storytellers point of view i especially liked how you unified and balanced things in the refrain - showing some of the same clips and also how in the first refrain you have Aeryn shove and in the second you have John's shove - i dunno i guess i just liked the symmetry in that - also from a person who has been waiting FOREVER to do an Evanescence song on here, THANK YOU - now all i need to do is wait for someone to do Taking Over Me or Bring Me To Life :) - again EXCELLENT work and THANK YOU!!

I'm a Flash artist myself. I don't know what the hell Farscape is. I do know that song by Evanescense, from the movie "Daredevil" though. It's a very special song to many people. I believe, although I've never seen the show "Farscape", that you properly mixed the lyrical styling with the images that you were portraying. Very beautiful and moving piece of art there. Oops, I realized I hadn't given my comments on this one! Frelling fantastic! One of my all-time favorites. It's very hard to create an emotional reaction with scenes that we've all seen hundreds of times before, but you did it. The choice of repeating shots for the "scream" part of the chorus was very powerful, especially John's.
