Summary:
The
Liars, Guns and Money trilogy aired in the US in January
2001. Stark returns with information valuable to rescuing
D'Argo's son, Jothee. Turns out Jothee is to be sold in
a lot of 10,000 slaves. The only way to save Jothee is to
purchase all of the slaves, but Moya's crew has no money.
Stark, armed with blueprints and security codes, proposes
the robbery of a shadow depository will solve everyone's
money problems. A shadow depository is a heavily armed place
where thieves and criminals store their ill-gotten goods.
Of course, events unfold not quite as planned, Scorpius
shows up and all mayhem breaks loose. Adding tension to
the situation, the neural clone inside Crichton's head is
growing ever more powerful, threatening Crichton, his friends
and everything. Featuring tons of action, plot twists, alien
sex and Crichton's memorable confrontation with Scorpius,
LGAM are episodes to enjoy. This video was captured from
the region 1 DVD, which includes the LGaM trilogy, plus
the excellent A Clockwork Nebari and the shocking
season two final, Die Me Dichotomy.
Shortly
after these episodes aired, I started thinking of them as
a music video and immediately chose Michael Jackson's Smooth
Criminal. To be honest, I was such a nerd in the '80s (as
if that has changed) I totally missed the whole Michael
Jackson thing. Of the songs he's produced, Smooth Criminal
(from the 1988 album, "Bad") is one of the few
I can actually listen to and enjoy. As far as the video
is concerned, I now remember why I've never attempted a
fast-paced video before, the editing process is a pain in
the ass. Requiring 17 days, and I don't want to admit how
many hours to complete, this video was quite a challenge
from start to finish. However, I think it came our rather
well and am glad I finally got it out of my head.
I hope
you enjoy the video and let me know what you think.
