around the net that's very interesting. The clip shows John and
Aeryn immediately following their reanimation. For obvious copyright
reasons, I can't post the video to this site, but if you would like

Dallascaper's Analysis
Updated 13 July 2004 @ 8:05 PM
Now
that you've downloaded the trailer as it was broadcast on Sci Fi,
it's time for some analysis. I'm presenting the trailer in slow
motion, freeze framed some scenes, and added my thoughts to the
soundtrack. I got some emails from Scapers suggesting that I glossed
over clues important to the plot of the show. They are right, so
I added more detailed analysis to the video. Length of the video
is now up to 7:52. View transcript

mini-series "Peacekeeper Wars" SPOILERS! What we know about the story
25
August 2004 - Based on the trailers and illegal clips floating around
the net we've seen so far, we know the following:
-
John and Aeryn are reanimated about 60 solar days after the events
of Bad Timing.
- The Scarrans and the Peacekeepers are engaged in what the Peacekeepers
enthusiastically call the "last war of our era."
- Commandant Grayza is pregnant, which considering her relationship
with Crichton early in the fourth season, brings up the question,
"who's the daddy?"
- The Luxans and Charrods play a major roll in the series.
- Stark is there.
- Scorpius and Crichton join forces at some point.
- Crichton, Aeryn and Rygel are all captured by the Scarrans. Rygel
and Crichton are tortured.
- Crichton has another encounter with "Einstein."

The
secret is out, and Brian Henson can finally talk about it. As previously
reported in Dreamwatch, Henson has spent the last five months working
as the director and executive producer of a new Farscape miniseries.
Written by series creator Rockne S. O'Bannon and former series head
writer/executive producer, Farscape: Peacekeeper War revives the
innovative sci-fi saga following its unexpected demise at the end
of its fourth season. "We wanted to wrap everything up in a wonderfully
satisfying way, but also leave the future open for movies or whatever
we might do next," reveals Henson, during a break from editing the
two-part, four-hour production. "The mini-series begins with John
Crichton and Aeryn Sun getting put back together after they were
crystallized (in Bad Timing). The characters are now engaged to
be married, they're expecting a baby and they're very much in love.
They just want to settle down.
"But
the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers have started a huge intergalactic
war and they're wiping out populations all over the place, and both
the Peacekeepers and the Scarrans are trying to hunt down Crichton
because they believe he has the ability to create the ultimate weapon
that would destroy the other side. So it's a great story of two
lovers just trying to put their family first, but they're unable
to. They get sucked into the dilemma of, 'Do I sacrifice my family
and potentially myself in order to save everyone, or do I run away
and try to save my family and sacrifice everyone else?' "It's very
cool," promises Henson. "It's a big, big story. It's the story of
them trying to have their baby and trying to stop a war."
Henson
admits that the production of Farscape: Peacekeeper War has been
shrouded in unprecedented secrecy since shooting began in Sydney,
Australia, in December 2003. "We really didn't want to give away
the story," he explains. "That's the fun of science fiction: you
don't know where it's going to go. "I was determined that the script
wouldn't be published on the Internet. And if a script of a storyline
ever shows up on the Internet, it may not necessarily be right at
all - it might be us putting the wrong one up. I want to keep the
element of surprise." Although Peacekeeper War resolves all the
show's major threads, Brian Henson notes that it won't necessarily
be the final Farscape adventure. A Farscape theatrical movie and
an animated series both remain strong possibilities.
"The
miniseries finishes in a place that would allow us to make a movie
if we wanted to. There are several routes we could take. But we
won't really be thinking about that for a while, we'll wait to see
how the mini-series does and see how people feel." Farscape: Peacekeeper
War is set to debut on the US SciFi Channel in the closing quarter
of 2004. A UK broadcast has yet to be finalized.
Spoiler
#2, Jool Returns, tribal knowledge.
It
was confirmed last autumn that Tammy McIntosh would reprise her
role as Jool. If you recall, Jool chose to
stay on the planet Armessk to help a group of time-displaced priests.
We know that Moya's crew will make it back to Armessk and reunite
with Jool. Remember, Armessk is the planet where Crichton found
the object that included ancient Peacekeeper and Human symbols,
suggesting a link between the two cultures. It's not known what
roll the possible link between Peacekeepers and Humans will play
in the mini, but it does allow for some interesting possibilities.
Spoiler
#1, provided by The Henson Company
The
Farscape miniseries will continue the adventures of astronaut John
Crichton and his intergalactic comrades. Newly engaged and expectant
parents John Crichton (Ben Browder) and Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black)
have been chased around the galaxy, have fallen in love and now
all they want is for their baby to be born and live in peace. However
theyıll first have to survive an all-out galactic war between the
Scarrans and Peacekeepers as well as a myriad of outlandish and
unexpected surprises that have become the hallmark of this award-winning
series.
